A Taste of Delight: Cioccolata Cafe

Large glass windows at this newly-opened cafe let you watch the streets of Intramuros and catch how a day transpires in this historical place, while reshly-baked muffins and croissants sitting inside a small glass display quietly tempt you to stay for more than just a cup of coffee. Aside from the ordinary pastries that you can get a hold of, cold beverages and hot drinks are available for consumption, too. This is the scene inside Cioccolata, a cafe located at the ground floor of newly-opened hotel, The Bayleaf Intramuros.

A wide variety of choices are available for you to enjoy. And take note, these food delights are not really expensive at all and will surely fit your budget, especially if you want to unwind after a long stressful day at school or work.

The cold beverages they offer come with mild but bold flavors, giving you a sure treat and the enjoyment that you want. Aside from coffee, they also offer tea and caffeine-free beverages for non-coffee drinker.

You can always compliment your drink with your choice of pastry, may it be a danish, a muffin or the famous churros. For us, a chocolate cake will definitely do the trick.

The sweetness of the cake and a slight of bitterness of the chocolate that wraps it, is definitely amazing. And you can enjoy it for less than a hundred pesos.

HOW TO GET THERE: Take a public transport en route to Manila City Hall and take a short 5-minute walk to Intramuros. The cafe is located at Muralla cor. Victoria St.
